Does the ParaPort driver support the interrupt mechanism of the parallel port?ParaPort does not support at this moment the Interrupt - bit 4 of Control Register to enable the IRQ via the Acknowledge line ( bit 6 of Status Register ), since it was not yet required. A workaround may be continuous polling on the parallel port.
